This syllabus is subject to change, in terms of both content and schedule. In addition to major fiction works, each unit will include thematically-related poetry, short fiction and nonfiction, extensive writing instruction, grammar, and vocabulary. In conjunction with each unit, students will work on individual digital English portfolios. Detailed notes, resources, and assignments are posted for each unit.
